Girafa Verde


Working closely with the client since the birth of the company meant that even their name could be strategized and developed as the main marketing element within the brand identity.

I began concept development by looking at the particular ingredients of this company: a online business that would sell sustainable one-of-a-kind items that are very hard to find elsewhere.

After researching the market, I proposed that the brand should rely on a unique “living” character that could help the user see farther or reach higher in order to find that rare item they were seeking. The Green Giraffe was a natural choice for the name and brand identity. It is also an example of how influential a “living” symbol can be by establishing an empathic relationship with the customer.

In addition to developing the name and concept, I also designed the mascot to complete the brand identity.
